Free to use — you just add your own free Groq API key on first launch (the app shows you how).
On a locked-down work PC without install rights? Download the portable version — same app, but it can't update itself, so you'd have to re-download it for every new version.

After installing

  1. The app opens and asks for a Groq API key — it's free, no card. The screen links you straight to console.groq.com to create one.
  2. Click into any text field — a document, a chat, an email.
  3. Hold Ctrl + Win, speak, then release. Your text appears where you were typing.
  4. Hands-free? Add Space while holding, and it keeps recording until you press the shortcut again.
